The Anchor Holds Church was birthed in the hearts of Mike and Donna Sanders in 1998 and held it first services in a little store front building in Guntown MS. Pastor Mike was licensed and served as an associate Pastor in the Assembly of God organization for 5 years until God moved on his heart to start a Nondenominational work. The purpose of being Nondenominational is we believe all who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior are all of the same spiritual family, all are brothers and sisters in Christ and share common faith. Whether you consider your self Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Presbyterian, etc... or if you are not saved and are seeking a place to know Christ as Lord and savior you are welcome and we can help each other in our journey of faith.

We are here to walk with you on this journey, to be there for you, and to encourage you along the way.

With God's favor, Anchor Holds Church purchased eight acres of land where we built our current facility in 2000. Other than the outer structure, our entire church was constructed by the awesome people who attend our services. We have people of various religious affiliations and race who attend our services. Our vision is to teach God's people the truth of His word and disciple all who are ready to serve God to fulfill all they can be in Him and in life.
